Ladin Awad is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and producer by way of Sudan and NYC.
Her work seeks to interrupt the monolithic narratives through which cross-cultural Black diasporic life is viewed and understood. At the intersections of film and photography, she explores intimate expansions and interventions on our relationship(s) to movement, memory, and time.
She is currently an MA candidate for Art & Public Policy at NYU Tisch School of The Arts, and is one of three founding members of of CHROMA, a cultural agency and creative studio that centers the work and perspectives of WOC.
